Cleaning is carried out by immersing the truffles in cold water for a few minutes and then brushing with a soft toothbrush under cold tap water. Leave them to dry for about ten minutes before use.
The best way to store these valuable products for as long as possible is the practice of wrapping them up one by one with paper towels and store them in an airtight container (glass or plastic). It is recommended that you change the paper towels every day and place them in the refrigerator in the vegetable compartment, between 2 and 4 °C. This ensures maintenance up to 8 days. For the truffles harvested in the colder winter months (November and December), the duration may be higher. However, being that it is a product subject to weight loss and deterioration, we recommend consuming it as soon as possible.
